rooted in Jola ancestral practice in The Gambia.

Each piece is prepared individually,

in a small shared ritual,

by the hands of women who carry this work within their daily lives.

Wrapped in Gambian cloth.

Bound with natural fibers.

Held in intention.

It is not made for the general.

It is made for the one who chooses — and is chosen.
