About Her Sacred Harvest
This work does not come from me alone.
My name is Naomi and I am part of a living tradition.
I was born into a Jola lineage in The Gambia,
where spiritual work, ritual, and connection to the land
are not separate from everyday life.
I am the daughter and granddaughter of elders
who carried this knowledge long before me.
My grandmother, Amie Bojang, was one of those figures in our community -
a woman who was deeply respected, and whose presence shaped the way this work is held.

Their guidance, their way of seeing,
and the values they lived by
continue through what I do today.
The work I share is not something I invented.
It is something I was raised around,
something I learned to respect,
and something I continue to grow into.
Together with others in my community,
we carry and continue practices
that have been held for generations.
This is about preservation.
And about sharing, in the right way,
with those who feel called.
What you see here is only a small part of that.
Welcome to a space of remembering
